Mobile network operator O2<\/a> (VMO2) will today launch a “more than double data<\/em>” offer across all of their Freesim and Pay As You Go (PAYG) style mobile plans (Big Bundles and Rolling Plans<\/a>), which will see most of their SIM plans getting a big data allowance (mobile broadband) boost for no extra cost.<\/p>\n

Big Bundles and Rolling Plans are both PAYG style SIM only tariffs that give you an allowance for calls, texts, and data. With a Big Bundle, you top up each month, and O2<\/a> exchanges the credit for your chosen Big Bundle. With a Rolling Plan, you set up paying for your monthly allowance using your debit or credit card (i.e monthly payments will be taken automatically, and your allowance will refresh).<\/p>\n

NOTE:<\/strong> Big Bundles also support data rollover (you can roll over up to 100% of your monthly data allowance into the next month), but only if you keep it topped-up each month.<\/div>\n

At the time of writing we don’t yet have all of the details to hand on the new offers, but we understand that the promotion will run until 25th January 2024. The key changes have been summarised below, although we think that the data boost period may only last for 3-months and then it may revert to the old value (to be confirmed).<\/p>\n
