The catch being that you don&#8217;t receive the promotional email immediately, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/link\/cityfibre\" target=\"_blank\">CityFibre<\/a> has not clarified how they choose who will actually receive the cashback offer itself (I had one after about a year, albeit annoyingly just after I&#8217;d already switched).<\/p>\n<div class=\"bq2\"><strong>NOTE:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/link\/cityfibre\" target=\"_blank\">CityFibre<\/a>&#8217;s gigabit broadband network now covers 3.5 million UK premises (3.2m as Ready for Service), with packages available via various ISPs (e.g. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/tt\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">TalkTalk<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/vodafoneuk\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Vodafone<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/link\/zen_internet\" target=\"_blank\">Zen Internet<\/a> etc.).<\/div>\n<p>Suffice to say that experiences do vary, although in the past CityFibre were only offering smaller cashback rewards (e.g. \u00a350). But since 16th November 2023 they appear to have increased this again to \u00a3200, which means that those who receive the reward invite and avail themselves of it, such as by signing up to a new CityFibre based ISP \/ package, could receive the sum in the form of an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/amazon\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Amazon<\/a> (sponsored link) or PayPal voucher.<\/p>\n<p>Officially speaking, the operator has informed us that their promotion forms part of a &#8220;<em>limited trial<\/em>&#8220;, although it could also be seen as part of a wider effort to help boost consumer take-up on their new broadband network (lots of operators have recently switched to focus more on generating sales &#8211; a key part of satisfying investors). Obviously, don&#8217;t try to claim the reward if you haven&#8217;t been offered it first, and make sure to then follow the rules.<\/p>\n<p>CityFibre doesn&#8217;t broadcast the value of these rewards on their website &#8211; that only comes as part of the personalised email and reward link. But the <a href=\"https:\/\/cityfibre.com\/switch-and-connect-terms-and-conditions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">T&amp;Cs for Switch and Connect<\/a> also make clear that the current offer will only be running until <strong>19th March 2024<\/strong> (at this point they&#8217;ll probably change the offer again).
