Retail ISP Hey! Broadband<\/a>, which caters for areas covered by F&W Networks<\/a>‘ (Fibre and Wireless) new gigabit speed Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP<\/a>) lines – mostly across the South East of England, has for the first time recently revealed that they’ve managed to grow their customer base to total over 25,000 on the new network.<\/p>\n

Customers of the service typically pay from \u00a323 per month for a 150Mbps (symmetric) package, which rises to \u00a333 for 400Mbps and then \u00a326 (discounted from \u00a343) for 900Mbps on a 24-month term. Each package includes a router and free installation. However, new customers are currently being offered an additional discount, which will give you the first three months of service for free.<\/p>\n

F&WN has so far managed to extend their full fibre broadband infrastructure to cover 410,000 UK premises (RFS) across various towns in London, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, and West Sussex. But we haven’t had any further progress updates on this since February 2024 (partly due to last year’s build slowdown<\/a>), at least not until Hey!’s recent post on LinkedIn<\/a> via Fibre Provider<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jose Luis, CEO at F&W Networks, told ISPreview:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Admittedly, though, this does represent a take-up of only 6.1%. But it’s important to remember that Hey! Broadband<\/a> are NOT the only ISP selling packages via F&W’s network (e.g. Link Broadband, Octaplus, Home Telecom, Fresh Fibre, Merula etc.) and so the overall total may well be higher.<\/p>\n
