Mobile network operator Lyca Mobile<\/a>, which in the UK is a virtual operator (MVNO) on EE<\/a>\u2019s network, has taken a break from recent troubles (here<\/a>) by pledging to “transform<\/em>” the “payment experiences<\/em>” of its customers through a new partnership with online payment provider Revolut Pay, making it the neobank\u2019s first official MVNO partner in the UK.<\/p>\n

The partnership promises to introduce “seamless<\/em>” payment capabilities, including “automated payments for subscriptions and bills, real-time notifications for payment statuses, and one-click top-ups<\/em>“. These features are said to “eliminate<\/em>” the need for repeatedly entering bank details, simplifying the payment process and “ensuring a hassle-free experience<\/em>“.<\/p>\n

Revolut Pay\u2019s advanced payment system is already said to have achieved a 100% authorisation rate for Lyca Mobile<\/a> transactions in its first month of operation. Additionally, 80% of Lyca Mobile<\/a> customers using Revolut Pay have adopted automatic top-ups and subscriptions.<\/p>\n
