{"id":44819,"date":"2026-05-11T10:59:35","date_gmt":"2026-05-11T09:59:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/?p=44819"},"modified":"2026-05-11T13:45:47","modified_gmt":"2026-05-11T12:45:47","slug":"vodafone-attract-most-ofcom-uk-complaints-for-broadband-and-o2-for-mobile-q4-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/2026\/05\/vodafone-attract-most-ofcom-uk-complaints-for-broadband-and-o2-for-mobile-q4-2025.html","title":{"rendered":"Vodafone Attract Most Ofcom UK Complaints for Broadband and O2 for Mobile &#8211; Q4 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"shortlink shortlink-133 shortlink-chref\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/link\/ofcom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"\" title=\"ofcom\" data-chref=\"https:\/\/www.ofcom.org.uk\">Ofcom<\/a> has today published their latest quarterly (Q4 2025) study of UK consumer telecoms and TV complaints, which finds that <a class=\"shortlink shortlink-90\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/vodafoneuk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"vodafone\">Vodafone<\/a> attracted the most complaints from customers for fixed broadband services, while <a class=\"shortlink shortlink-68\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/o2uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"o2\">O2<\/a> came top of the naughty table for Mobile services and <a class=\"shortlink shortlink-43\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/eebroadband\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"ee home broadband\">EE<\/a> did the same for Pay TV.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Take note that the regulator&#8217;s report only covers complaints that <a class=\"shortlink shortlink-133 shortlink-chref\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/link\/ofcom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"\" title=\"ofcom\" data-chref=\"https:\/\/www.ofcom.org.uk\">Ofcom<\/a> itself has received and not those sent directly to an ISP, the <a class=\"shortlink shortlink-129 shortlink-chref\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/link\/ispa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"\" title=\"ispa\" data-chref=\"https:\/\/www.ispa.org.uk\">ISPA<\/a> or an <strong>Alternative Dispute Resolution<\/strong> (ADR) complaints handler (i.e. <strong>Communications Ombudsman<\/strong> or <strong>CISAS<\/strong>). Ofcom does not deal with individual complaints, but they do monitor them and can take action if enough people raise a concern.<\/p>\n<div class=\"bq2\"><strong>NOTE:<\/strong> Ofcom received 38,441 telecoms complaints directly from consumers in 2024, although a single complaint might be recorded as different\/multiple issues and therefore account for more than one complaint in these figures.<\/div>\n<p>Otherwise, the results below reflect a proportion of residential subscribers (i.e. the total number of quarterly complaints per 100,000 customers per provider), which makes it easier to compare providers in a market where ISPs can vary significantly in size. But sadly, the study only covers feedback from the largest ISPs due to limited data (i.e. those with a market share of at least 1.5%).<\/p>\n<p>Just for some extra context. Ofcom&#8217;s most recent May 2025 study of telecoms provider quality (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/2025\/05\/ofcom-ranks-big-uk-mobile-and-broadband-isps-by-quality-and-faults-2025.html\">here<\/a>) revealed that the proportion of UK consumers who were satisfied with their communications services stood at 73% for landline services (down from 77% two years earlier), 84% for broadband (up from 82%) and 88% for mobile services (up from 87%).<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #339966;\"><strong>Fixed Line Home Broadband Complaints<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><a class=\"shortlink shortlink-90\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/vodafoneuk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"vodafone\">Vodafone<\/a> attracted the most broadband complaints this quarter, with 52% of them being driven by faults, service and provisioning issues. On EE the main driver was with switching providers (33%), while on NOW the complaints were driven by faults, service and provisioning issues (50%).
