The operator also had 671 full fibre broadband customers.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk\/company\/04196996\/filing-history\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">giffgaff&#8217;s accounts<\/a>, the company&#8217;s revenue also increased by 5% to \u00a3633.78m, but their profit after tax fell sharply to \u00a344.69m (2024: \u00a364.09m). The latter fall was mostly attributed to an &#8220;<em>increase in the cost of sales and administrative expenses<\/em>&#8220;. The net assets of the company now stand at \u00a3387.09m, which is up from \u00a3342.40m last year. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/giffgaffmobile\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Giffgaff<\/a> also reported being home to a total of 299 employees (up from 264 last year).<\/p>\n<p>At this point some readers might wonder why <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/giffgaffmobile\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">giffgaff<\/a> has so few fixed broadband customers and the answer to that is because these results only go up to 31st December 2025 &#8211; the provider only launched their new full fibre service in mid-September 2025 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/2025\/09\/mobile-operator-giffgaff-launch-uk-full-fibre-broadband-packages.html\">here<\/a>) and it then took several months to expand its availability &#8211; initially only via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/link\/nexfibre\" target=\"_blank\">nexfibre<\/a>&#8217;s network patch.<\/p>\n<p>Giffgaff has only recently started to become available via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/vm\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Virgin Media<\/a>&#8217;s existing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/link\/fttp\">FTTP<\/a> network too (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/2026\/06\/full-fibre-giffgaff-broadband-packages-now-available-in-virgin-media-uk-areas.html\">here<\/a>), so their initial launch was hindered by a weak level of UK network availability.
