{"id":48014,"date":"2026-09-13T00:01:24","date_gmt":"2026-09-12T23:01:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/?p=48014"},"modified":"2026-09-11T16:11:55","modified_gmt":"2026-09-11T15:11:55","slug":"broadband-isp-fibeo-puts-uk-launch-back-to-q1-2027-and-rebrands-as-terivo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/2026\/09\/broadband-isp-fibeo-puts-uk-launch-back-to-q1-2027-and-rebrands-as-terivo.html","title":{"rendered":"Broadband ISP Fibeo puts UK launch back to Q1 2027 and rebrands as Terivo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nearly a year has passed since the Glasgow-based Fibeo <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/2025\/10\/new-scotland-based-uk-broadband-isp-fibeo-set-to-launch-in-2026.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">revealed to ISPreview<\/a> that they were currently planning to launched their new ISP sometime in \u201c<em>early<\/em>\u201d 2026 \u2013 powered by the <a href=\"https:\/\/catenacloud.co\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dotlines Catena Cloud<\/a> platform and the PXC broadband network. But the provider, which still isn&#8217;t live, has now put this back to Q1 2027 and rebranded to Terivo.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>At the time <del datetime=\"2026-09-11T14:28:39+00:00\">Fibeo<\/del> Terivo said that it &#8220;<em>exists to fix what the big providers broke. No hidden costs. No endless call queues. No passing the buck. Just reliable broadband, clear answers, and a team that genuinely cares<\/em>&#8220;, which is the sort of thing we&#8217;ve heard before from various new market entrants in the past. But the proof is in the service and for some reason it&#8217;s taking them a long.. time to go live.<\/p>\n<div class=\"bq2\"><strong>NOTE:<\/strong> The Catena platform is, so far as we&#8217;re aware, still expected to underpin Terivo\u2019s operations, including its public-facing website, and the backbone of the company\u2019s digital infrastructure for end-to-end business management.<\/div>\n<p>The good news is that since rebranding they&#8217;ve introduced a more functional website (as opposed to the old holding page), although it&#8217;s still a case of only being able to &#8220;<em>register interest<\/em>&#8221; in the service because there&#8217;s nothing yet available to order. Still, we think this is the first time we&#8217;ve seen a broadband ISP re-brand itself twice before even going live.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, sometimes the best things come to those who wait (..a long time), and Terivo are currently preparing to publish a <strong>Customer Charter<\/strong> that aims to set out the standard customers can expect and how it will measure\/report on its performance. Hopefully they&#8217;ll launch that alongside an actual service.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"bq1\"><p><strong>Caelan Grant, Founder of Terivo, said:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Broadband now underpins how we work, learn, communicate and live. It has become essential to everyday life, yet too often the standard people are expected to accept is simply good enough.<\/p>\n<p>I founded Terivo because I believe broadband deserves greater care, stronger accountability and a level of quality that reflects the role it now plays in our lives. Exceptional service is not created by one headline feature. It is created by hundreds of deliberate decisions, made consistently over time.<\/p>\n<p>It is the router we choose rather than the cheapest one available. It is the speed we advertise rather than the highest number a line may briefly reach. It is the person who answers when you need help, listens properly, understands the issue and has the authority to resolve it. It is clear pricing, thoughtful onboarding and taking responsibility for the complete experience inside your home.<\/p>\n<p>At Terivo, we do not treat any of those decisions as small details. Together, they will define the experience our customers receive. As Terivo grows, protecting that standard becomes even more important. Customer ownership helps us do that by aligning our success with the people who make it possible.<\/p>\n<p>From our first profitable year, 50% of Terivo\u2019s post-tax profit will be shared with customer-owners.<\/p>\n<p>We will also publish how we perform against the promises we make each year. Accountability means measuring our performance properly, reporting it clearly and never treating improvement as finished.<\/p>\n<p>We do not expect you to trust Terivo simply because we say the right things. We expect to earn your confidence through the quality of everything we do.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>At present we don&#8217;t know much about what Terivo will offer, although every broadband package is expected to include an <strong>Audra Safe<\/strong> wireless router (the same one <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/carnival-internet\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Carnival Internet<\/a> UK use \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/2025\/06\/broadband-isp-carnival-internet-uk-integrates-audra-security.html\">here<\/a>), designed to give households greater control over their internet use. Plus built-in security features, parental controls, and device management through an app. An optional VPN product to enhance online privacy and security will also be made available.<\/p>\n<p>The big challenge is that consumers aren&#8217;t exactly short on broadband ISPs to choose from today and quite a few of them have made similar customer-centric promises, although it will be interesting to see how they handle that unique commitment to return 50% of their first-year post-tax profits back to customers (assuming they make a profit in year 1).
