One of the markets cheapest broadband providers, Primus Saver (New Call Telecom), has decided to re-brand under the new name of Fuel Broadband<\/em>. The move is due to take affect from Wednesday 1st October 2014.<\/p>\n

It’s perhaps fair to say that Primus has had somewhat of a rough summer. Back in July 2014 the ISP withdrew their cheapest standard broadband packages and stopped selling superfast “fibre broadband<\/em>” (FTTC<\/a>) services, both due to low take-up (here<\/a> and here<\/a>). Shortly after that Primus had one of their “unlimited broadband for \u00a32<\/em>” adverts banned due to an issue over unexpected mid-contract price rises (here<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Clearly Primus Saver would like to refresh its image around their new range of packages and alter their name in order to better reflect what it is they sell, hence the letter that is now being sent to existing customers. We believe that broadband is the fuel of everyday life, which is why from October 1st Primus Saver will be changing its name to Fuel Broadband.<\/em><\/p>\n

Your service from Fuel Broadband will continue to be supported by the same dedicated and experienced team of telecom\u2019s professionals, and we will continue our commitment to providing a quality service and exceptional value.<\/em><\/p>\n

Frequently asked questions<\/em><\/p>\n

1. Why is Primus Saver changing its name?<\/em><\/strong>
\n We want to create a unique and positive experience for our customers, and with that we chose a name that we feel embodies our philosophy and our customers needs.<\/em><\/p>\n

2. Will the name change affect my service?<\/em><\/strong>
\n No, your terms service and contract will stay the same. Your line, broadband connection and router will not be affected by the name change. Our experienced UK based Customer Service team will still be with you 365 days a year for whatever you need.<\/em><\/p>\n

3. What will happen with my bills?<\/em><\/strong>
\n Your monthly bills will continue to be sent to your existing contact details as normal, and your current invoice and payment due dates will remain unchanged. Direct Debits payments will also stay the same and will not need to be set up again.<\/em><\/p>\n

The only change that you will encounter will be that payments will display as New Call Telecom trading as Fuel Broadband on your bank statement.<\/em><\/p>\n
