New customers looking to take one of EE<\/a>’s fixed line superfast home “Fibre Broadband” (FTTC<\/a>) packages, which offer Internet download speeds of up to 38Mbps and 76Mbps, can now benefit from a discount price that applies for the first 6 months of service (note: it use to only apply for 3 months).<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As usual customers who opt for any of the packages will also need to take EE<\/a> Line Rental<\/strong> at either the equivalent of \u00a311.00 a month, if you pay 12 months upfront (\u00a3132), or \u00a315.75 as a standard monthly charge. We’ve also included their latest standard home broadband (ADSL2+) package deals below.<\/p>\n

All of the FTTC<\/a> packages include a free BrightBox 2<\/strong> router (older BB1 kit on standard broadband), one year’s subscription to Norton Online Security, free connection, an 18 month contract term and not to mention their special promotions (i.e. 2-for-1 cinema tickets and 2-for-1 pizza express [pizza deal every Wednesday]).<\/p>\n

On top of that if you’re an existing 4G<\/a> mobile customer with EE then adding Home Broadband will see your data allowance boosted to 10GB (or 20GB if the 4GEE plan is over \u00a346). EE has also promised to cover the cost of ending your existing home broadband contract early (up to \u00a3100) if you decide to switch, but again this is only applicable as a benefit to EE’s existing mobile subscribers.<\/p>\n
