I'd moved my primary work domain to AA many years ago. More recently I'd ported the phone numbers to their VoIP service. So when the then current host of a couple of personal domains decided to charge significantly for what had been free (very much the last straw after a number of issues that they should have known the answer to, but acted otherwise), I checked with AA. I found that they were going to be cheaper with more options. The domains were held on one of the companies that attracted and host up to millions of domain names.

Sales were very helpful in confirming prices and packages etc.

So I decided to move, and over the next few hours (while I was on a train, so not the easiest of circumstances) the move went smoothly. The only problem was my own fault, and the sales person I was liasing with - VA - resolved the matter.

I will have no hesitation in not only moving more work domains to AA but knowing that I'm in capable hands during the short time that it took.

With my Plusnet contract about to run out, and their phasing out of PSTN, I had been testing out VOIP from A&A on a new number for a while, with the Yealink W70B DECT phone - supplied preconfigured by them. Next step was to get a Grandstream 801 Adapter, also preconfigured by them for my new number. After the struggles dealing with agents and bots and so-called help pages, working with A&A was an absolute pleasure - very responsive technical support, easy to have a dialogue over email, confident but respectful, with deep knowledge. So I decided to take the plunge and move my FTTC Broadband to A&A SOGEA and at the same time port my PSTN number to VOIP via the adapter earlier this week. Able to keep my existing modem and router which was a boon, with excellent support by phone in dealing with an issue that was resolved by configuring the router from scratch. OK, I have good technical knowledge, but that means I just appreciate even more the detailed information available from the A&A control panel. Very well worth paying a little more to get such a high standard of ethical and human service. Special hat tip to Shaun.

Been with AAISP for over a decade now, having migrated from Be Unlimited. During that time we've transitioned from ADSL to a VDSL service and recently to an FTTP service - all of which has been excellent.

The support is surely the best you could get. They are knowledgeable, responsive and will genuinely try to help you. They have always been obliging when enquiring about even minor niggles. When upgrading to FTTP I made a mistake of ordering as an additional service rather than regrading our existing VDSL service, but the folks at AAISP kindly sorted this without delay or fuss.

Performance and reliability has been fantastic throughout. It, again, is surely the best that could be achieved within the constraints of BT Group et el. services/infrastructure.

The feature set is unique with a plethora of useful options and monitoring available to the customer.

The ordering, processing, billing and terms is all very transparent and plainly set out. What you see is what you get, no hidden traffic shaping, filtering or random price hikes etc.

While AAISP are not the cheapest, and some may be put off by the data quotas, you definitely get what you pay for. To my knowledge, prices have not increased in the time we have been with them. On the contrary they have decreased prices and/or upgraded quotas.

We don't usually leave reviews, but here's a rare exception to the rule.

I cannot fault Andrews and Arnold for 'exposing the engine' and allowing us to see every step in the process of an install or regrade. The tools are wonderful with just enough hand-holding when needed, lots of technical data to peruse, and easy ways to contact them that don't involve hanging on the telephone.

I just went through an upgrade from FTTC to FTTP and it has been one of the wonderful experiences in my life! As the old distribution pole was amongst branches the ADSL would drop on every time it rained, then resync. By happenstance I came home when the Openreach team were servicing a neighbour, and gathering my courage and being a little cheeky I asked them if they'd swing my new fibre line from a different pole, also in line of sight of my house. They agreed! What a team - and a couple of weeks later returned as planned to use the fresh fibre and installed the grey box/ONT. The O/R engineer went beyond the call of duty when he discovered that 'they' had planned my swing from yet another pole too distant, so went through his call system and had me rerouted via the new one.

I appreciate especially the A&A interaction with O/R and their technical abilities way beyond fixing WiFi coverage or generic modem issues. Knowing I can put issues on web chat or IRC makes the whole thing such a pleasurable experience that I can only recommend them heartily.

A&A have been supremely effective in wrangling BT to get me online ASAP after a house move, and to get bandwidth as high as possible. They were able to work around Openreach not being able to cope with emails with '+' in the localpart, were able to guide me on the magic words to use to expedite the installation, and were even able to get a second engineer to my premises on a day's notice after the first one failed to set up the line properly --- meaning my downloads are now 4x faster than they would otherwise be.

Their online control system is also unbeatable, and provides a fantastic level of detail and control and transparency -- down to the level of being able to automate BT line tests, push configuration changes to my router, and provide details bandwidth and latency statistics.

Their staff have gone out of their way to be kind and thoughtful, and they've been fantastically effective.

I only wish BT would offer FTTP! Though I gather that may be coming soon — if so, I'll definitely be switching up and staying with A&A!

I especially like the way I can contact sales or tech on IRC and get an instant response.

Shout out to Victoria and Michael who have helped me deal with some BT/OpenReach problems.

FTTP install very smooth this morning. The engineer was a lovely chap and put the hole through exactly where I wanted it. Awesome A&A response too for allowing me to break my existing ADSL contract early as FTTP had just arrived on my street the week after.

Speeds and network availability excellent.

I'd recommend them to anyone.

Recently migrated FTTC from Plus to a SOGEA product from AAISP. The migration couldn't have been smoother.
Clear communication from the point of order through to delivery.
Ordered an additional SOGEA connection with them (a second connection) which involved a new copper pair via Openreach. Openreach were tricky, but AAISP helped keep things on track.
Service via their connection is solid and the reporting tools available help me keep an eye on the quality of the connections.

Moved from Zen to save a few quid and am very impressed on all fronts though there was a bit of a bumpy migration of my FTTP connection due to an issue at BT with the migration order (BT's fault, not theirs or mine as all the correct information was provided) but they were very upfront and honest with the details.

Latency is consistently lower and I am blown away by the level of control they give their customers over their connection as well as how helpful and knowledgeable all the staff are.

I've used AAISP since 2002 and always had good service. That was with ADSL then VDSL. Sept 2023 Openreach finally installed FTTP and so I upgraded to a 160 Mbps service and switched my phone number to VOIP so I can get rid of the copper line rental charges. Everything went smoothly and I didn't even have to configure the FTTP router that AAISP sent me; it did it automatically. AAISP are not the cheapest but they are a technically competent niche provider with no stupid "if you want this press that" support services. You get through to a real human being straight away. It helps if you the customer know what you're talking about too.

I have been aware of the reputation of AAISP for a long time, but finally took the plunge when CityFibre announced their availability in my area.

Obviously, the installation was all down to CityFibre (and was great).

I love the control panel. It is great for tweakers. I love the facilities they have developed for the more technically inclined.

They are totally open and transparent, for example they tell you the uptime for your line. You can tell they really care about what they are doing, and they give you real confidence in the product and service you receive.

On cost, they are a bit more expensive, but when you experience what you get for that you realise it is totally worth it.
