I recently had some experiences of other ISPs and I must say it has made me realise just how good these guys are! There have been a few more downtimes of late than we are used to but as they are upgrading all of the services this was to be expected and it appears to have been sorted now.

Excellent support (very customer focussed - a lot more helpful than some I have had experience of) and all at a very reasonable cost. Just wish they still did annual billing!

Title: Terrible
I ended up with Breathe as an ISP after they took over ZetNet.

I was without eMail to my own Domain for 3 months and had no access to Support. None of the previous Support numbers or contacts were "manned" and only limited replies were received to any of the Breathe Support contacts.

I didn't even receive a reply to my cancellation notification, until I requested a Mac code.

Then the Mac code was held hostage on the claim that I Owed them for the next 30 days Service as they had not received my cancellation (30 days notice etc. ect.).

My Domain is still being held Hostage for the same Reasoning, 9 months after cancellation.

Awful, Awful company.

Title: RIP Zetnet
Many reading this site will know that Breathe have taken over Zetnet, a previously reliable and trusted ISP - with disastrous consequences.

I am a now ex-Zetnet customer who has never before written an online review but feel I must say something about the shocking performance of Breathe following their takeover of Zetnet.

Before finally migrating, I experienced over a month of no email (on my own domain, managed by Breathe) followed by overbilling and finally the frustration of trying to have a fault diagnosed that left me with no broadband for 2 weeks during which time having spent literally hours on hold to cusomer services at Breathe I finally migrated to Fast who had the problem resolved in 24hours following the migration.

Breathe customer services line has a queuing system that only allows a 15 minute hold time - if you are worse than 2nd in the queue, forget it - you will be cut off before the call is picked up (after which time you have thrown £1.50 down the drain).

I could not possibly more strongly recommend that you do not choose Breathe as a provider until such a time as they have sorted out their problems and got their act together.

Breathe have single handedly destroyed their most recent acquisition, Zetnet in a matter of a few weeks. They have no customer support, their service is at best erratic and their public statements are laughable.

Under no circumstances should you think of using Breathe as an ISP. If you are with them then heaven help you!

Breathe bought Zetnet and precipitated the fiasco that has recently led to ourselves and many others losing our email for over two weeks.

The only way to access customer support is through an expensive 0871 number and they couldn't help anyway.

No one in senior positions at Breathe seems to bother to respond to email complaints.

I suggest you keep away.

Do not use this ISP..... they have an abysmal service - they have just started administrating/buying out Zetnet, with disastrous consequences for zetnet's customers. Check the forums......
If there was a rating of '0' i would use it... '1' is too good to describe Breathe.

Title: Junk
Failed to bill me for over a year. My gain! Never have put me on the 8Meg taht I am supposed to be on and are now charging me so I am chasing hard.
Only other person I know that has used them had the same experience.
E mail service is appalingly unreliable. They even changed the servers without telling anyone! Call centre is in India and they do not speak English that you can understand.
Don\'t go with them.

NOTE amended 14th March 2006 :- BREATHE are in ADMINISTRATION from 08/12/2005.
This company has taken more money than I owe them and refuse to refund. I have quit this ISP as their billing department is the worst I have come across.
I have given one month\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s notice, paid my final month in advance and quit this moronic company and now they are trying to take money from my bank yet again.
All attempts to resolve the problem are futile.
The customer service department is a call centre in India. They promise to contact the billing department which is a box number address in London. Nothing is done and I am fed up of promised phone calls that

Breathe has been the worst ISp I ever had, right from the beginning of being forced onto them from the closure of V21 it was a nightmare of unanswered calls and bills not arriving at the correct time the customer service waqs useless and incomprehensible people on the other end of the phone at 60p per minute, I just finished my qnnual contract and couldn\'t wait to get off them, the speeds were really a huge disappointment, most of the time could barely get above 120kbps form an allegedly 1MB connection, I have about ten tests from adsl speed checker confirming it.
