SWS Broadband Reviews

Secure Web Services cover the rural Shropshire Hills - an area with variable availability of other broadband options. e.g. we are ~7km from our nearest cabinet (~10km from exchange), have no mobile signal (not even 2G) no usuable FTTC, no FTTP.

They are a small personable ISP who do a good job of providing service over what could be difficult terrain (lots of hills and deep valleys). Despite these challenges we have found their uptime to be very good - even following storms / snow etc.

As with any such system they do have some downtime - but where in SWS control it is well flagged in advance.

Overall, I have no hesitation in recommending SWS for anyone suffering unsatisfactory ADSL speeds and needing an alternative option - hopefully you have line of sight to one of SWS's masts!
