2 years of problems. Lovely staff who all promise to help but they can't fix the issues which started when they tried to take over my neighbour's broadband instead of mine, then *insisted* I had a new line put in despite there being nothing wrong with the line I had and ever since then, nothing but drop outs, speeds less than 1Mbps. Every time you phone tech' support, they say "it's your router that's at fault". Here I am, 2 years and 6 routers later and I'm migrating to another provider and the minute they got notified, I've had no internet.
Phoned tech support, they were very busy and promised to call me back twice and never did.
I'm only online now because I bought a day's worth of internet from BTfon.
I could never recommend Zen. They are more expensive than other providers, but the service is dreadful.

While the service seems ok, and I get to speak to and clearly understand Yorkshire people if I have a problem, everything else is not clear. Pricing is confusing, there's no way I can check my account online, especially as this month I was overcharged by an enormous amount. I can't discover why or what I was charged for. I contacted them on facebook, to be told that I have made lots of 118 calls, which is nonsense because I use my mobile phone for calls now, due to having free minutes, and the landline phone I get charged for each call. On the basis that I get frustrated by not being in control and not being able to check things or amend stuff, I am planning to leave Origin. This may be a small matter to some, but for someone on a fixed (small) pension, it is imperative that I am able to be in full control of my money and to be able to double check what leaves my bank account.
Speeds are nothing amazing and on a good day, with the wind behind me, I reach a dizzying 7Mbps.............
