A leaked report from the UK governments Ministry of Sound has revealed that the country's national postal service (Royal Mail) is to be tasked with sending files, specifically those that had previously been destined for download over the internet (e.g. websites, emails and VoIP calls etc.), to consumers by post instead of online.

Ofcom, the UK's communications regulator, has today proposed to slash the prices that BT can charge ISPs for its annual phone and broadband services. The move should mean cheaper services for consumers but won't prevent BT from putting up its prices in other areas.
