Breathe Network Acquires Fast4 in Merger with NJP Services

:O not that suprised really since this is a repeat of Biscuit work up the user base then sell out. This will alos perhaps return the customer base back to Eurisp since that is who Breathe use

There have been rumours of Redten customers going back to an unlimited service on another forum from Redten users who were transferred to NJP when BT Wholesale cut them off. They have been discussing a "big announcement" due this week as well. I wonder if this is it?

I do wonder, as a current Fast4 customer, what will this mean for me for the future. The article states that Fast4 will be run independently but there's no information on whether our service will change.

I'm sure they'll email you if there are any changes to the T&Cs.

:hrmph: I would be more inclined to download a copy of the present T&C and ask where I stand as if thye change them without telling you they could say you accepted.

Could be a interesting few days.

I do believe that was one of my predictions.

Didnt see it being breathe though.

Im sure all the customers will be overjoyed to hear that they will be going back to the provider (Eurisp) that Fast4 moved away from, because they were 'unreliable'.

All this ISP starting, stopping, merging and selling seems suspect to me.

In the meanwhile, lets all look forward to breathe reps and technical support guys make an appearance on the forum. ;)

Correct Old dude you need to stop looking at your chrystal ball but before you do any readings on the BT phorm affair....

:D hope you are well..

OK....no-one does BT for the illegal trials...a few highups voice 'concern'.

BT puts out more spin, and end result is that they carry on using phorm.

Its a bit more difficult, because before with Fast4 it was obvious as to the nature of the people in charge, and the concern they had for their customers.

No crystal ball, more reading into what people are like ;)

:laugh::laugh:
Might not be a right prediction I think poor Emma is in line to take the fall for all this MPO ofcourse.

We haven't had any reps for Breathe on for so long doubt they will return..

When Breathe first started out under Martin Dawes retail group I took on their support as my team were then renowned for quality and service focused Support under our primary ISP Prestel Online! Breathe I think then rebranded to Breathe Online, Breathe Free then they fell out with ScottishTelecom who were providing network and other services including our support which ironically was the only part of the ST services they insisted on retaining.
Not long after they then decided to take the support in house and it went through various changes I believe.

Not sure if they did outsource offshore or not to be honest but one things for sure it wasnt the same after it left us.

That's what Breathe said when they took over Zetnet and look at the mess they're currently making of that in this thread.
If my experience as a customer of Zetnet is anything to go by you'll be wanting to change your ISP ASAP.

 I would like to say that Breathe are a total and complete joke, but what they have done to Zetnet customers is catastrophic and appalling. What is even more appalling is that they are charging people a fortune, to not be able to speak to somebody in authority. You can can go down from 4 or 3 in the queue and when at 1, you're cut off. You never get priority, back to 4 or 3 again. I must have spend over 20 pounds to get knowhere. I had Vicky Crouchers number 0207 1382735 that is now switched to the premium line sertvice to get you knowhere again. The only way you may make any progress, is to send repeated faxes to 0161 953 4232 (you'll see the fax number change to another when the fax goes through). This of course may only work if you want the MAC codes or EPP Key's in order to exit from Zetnet/Breathe. It took me around 21 days to get this information and only after continual and repeated efforts. All those suffering I suggest you bombard Ofcom and the Office of Fair Trading/consumer direct. Also, does anybody have any names/contact information with major national daily papers we can contact.
