Hi All
I have a three SIM unlimited calls, texts, and data.
Fitted it into tp link 4g router MR 600
I've been using it for just over a week now, everything has been working great untill yesterday.
We now seam to have a problem with social media on our mobile phone's not loading pictures, not playing videos amd runnimg slow.
Connect back to my old provider and all working ok.
Speed test showing speeds 20 to 30.
We can watch full HDstreaming of movies on various providers, play x box and game on sons laptop with no issues on 4G router.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Mamy thanks

Try manually changing your DNS settings. This seems to have done the trick for most people.

I’m not sure exactly where the setting will he but it will he in your router settings pages. I’d recommend using the DNS servers 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 as they perform excellently.

You may need to reboot your router and devices to get them onto the new settings and clear out the old ones once you’ve changed it.

You need a minimum download speed of 3 Megabits per second to watch a single video stream in clear, standard definition. The best Internet speed for HD streaming is 5Mbps, and if you go all the way up to 4K streaming, or ultra HD, your bandwidth should start at 25Mbps.

Hi Mvsk237,
I am having similiar issues to yours, could you tell me if you have found what is the problem, please?

I have Three sim card (Smarty which uses Three signal) and same router, and it was fine for last two months. FOr last few days I am having intermittent problems with internet connection:
- website loading slow not loading fully (no pictures usually in mobile phone app)
- website not loading at all and gett connection error (very rare) i.e. DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET
- usually when I close window in browser or browser and reopen, then it is ok
- page will load but if not used for a while and left open, and then clicked on something when back to that page it takes while to load
- I play PvP game online and experiencing some issues to connect to server, while in game it is ok
- found streamable.com loading long

I have put my other Three card in the router and it is the same. Same card put in the phone and shared internet with my PC and no issues so it must be router issue.

Thanks in advance,
Griellwe

P.S. All this connections

Check your Router isn't doing something daft, like switching to 3G. Mine would go from 4, to 3 as we are on the edge of any decent signal. the router would think 3G was faster, switch and then everything would suck. I've explicitly disabled 3G and not had a problem since.

I stream music via Three unlimited data and I do suspect they've got a network capacity problem. I go the exact same route everyday to work, some days I get almost perfect streaming with no interruptions, other days just constant music pauses as if there's no signal. I know exactly where my signal is weak on my commute, there's no problem with my phone, I fix it to 4G only, I've been experiencing this for a long time and the conclusion I've reached is the problem is their internal or even mobile network is at capacity, there isn't much else it can be i.e. lack of through put due to a over loaded network. The Three packages are great in terms of price but I think after my contract ends I'm going to move else where. Hires music doesn't consume that much data, so I'll almost certainly save some money as well.
