It looks like a G.FAST pod to me.
I dont know, it looks like a g.fast pod, did you have VDSL/VDSL2 in your area before?I thought they had all but stopped the gfast roll out?
So was expecting you guys to come back and say it was VDSL related.
What kind of ETA is there on GFast pod go live dates from install?
Ah ok, it could well be a VDSL pod in the style of a G.FAST one, or you could have struck lucky and got both at once ;-)Yea, FTTC has been available for a few years now. On the ooenreach checker my local cabinet is showing for FTTC as "waiting list". So I was expecting them to build a second FTTC cabinet. Not stick a pod on existing pcp?
It took 3 weeks from the G.Fast pod appearing to being able to order. I was relentlessly checking the broadband checker daily. Gotta say i'm surprised they're still rolling it out too, I thought they had stopped all that nonsense.
Also, yes it's a G.Fast pod
with that range, you are lots worse with g.fast upload could be lots lower than VDSL.God job I'm not. About 150-170 I reckon. Possible 200.
when i moved areas from a 40MBPS area was horrbile lived to far away from the exchange and the line was noisey had diffenrt engineers out to fix them but only ever manged to get 40MBPS now i have moved i was with PlusNet then i was getting the full speed 76MBPS then a bt engineer told me Gfast was in the area with speeds of up to 300MBPS so i got rid of plusnet for bt and never l looked back so wanted to try it out with 150mbps speeds and they always went over so i thought i would upgrade to see what the line could really doMy next door neighbour G fast range was 186-255 for down and 17-38 for up and they told me their max speed on G fast from engineer told them only support up to 174 max and up to 15 max on upstream so they got 141/12 with EE.
God job I'm not. About 150-170 I reckon. Possible 200.
