Can someone help me I've done lots of test with the phone line tested the lot and some strange reason everyday about 3pm my internet cuts off they are putting 1gbps toob network in my area and around different areas around me could this cut it out or is it the noise on my line ? This is a old photo but my line attenuation now is 4.2/5.2 it's like it drops and goes up abit ? Anyone help or abit of information on noise margin ?

1st of all what router are you using as that doesn’t look like the smart hub / 2’s interface
2nd it’s Tube not Toob.

It's a BT smart hub 2 that information is in the advanced settings (https://www.toob.co.uk/) there the people that are doing my area they are using the bt air ducks I've spoken to a openreach engineer but what I want to know is the noise on line bad or good ? Is that what could cause drop outs ? Or is it the Hub?

Lol sorry I didn't realise toob was an Altnet. Also, no that shouldn't cause dropouts as they aren't tinkering in the cabinets, merely pulling another cable alongside yours. The smart hub 2 is extrodinarily sensitive to problems, however, I can't really think of another router that supports G.FAST without a modem. I would usually recommend to use a Hub 5 but you have to have a G.FAST modem to use one with your service. You can buy G.FAST modems from eBay for >Β£100 but it depends whether it's a problem at your end or BTs and whether your are willing to spend that sort of money on something that could but also couldn't fix your problems. Check your area first for problems on BTs website and maybe give them a call.

How long does it cut off for, could be something interfering with equipment turned on to a set time. I.E. do you have a school along the route to the cabinet that turns on traffic lights for 20mph at 3 pm.

Ye you can't game on hybrid connect due to CGNAT. The only network that doesn't do CGNAT is three.

Yeah it's like my phone to I'm on BT mobile with unlimited data and can't game on the phone but tethering to my switch works fine and I've noticed ipv6 EE is now but I'm sure its been around for alittle while now

EEs IPv6 is pants. They've implemented it in a way that screws with everything. My dad used to have BT Mobile and it messed stuff up so be I turned it off for him.

I have two APNs on my phone, one called 3 and one called 3 Gaming. 3 Gaming doesn't have CGNAT so if I game when im out or use my personal hotspot I switch to that one

Yeah they recently upgraded the network in my area so I get 70 to 100Mbps no matter the time of day.
