Is Smarty Unlimited truly unlimited?

Thought I had my O2 sim active this morning 🙄 that ping! Shocking.

Do hope these works are completed by Sunday. I keep seeing 5G flicker on and off which is strange as it normally only happens in certain parts of the house, maybe it’s a sign of things to come 🙏🏼

Oh yikes, I don't think I've ever seen such a hing ping, or jitter either come to that.

It can only get better CarlO1460. 🤞

pings for me seems relatively stable with the odd spike here and there but in the past week my speeds have dropped sharply. I have a raspberry pi doing speed tests and logging the data and I can barely get over 20mbit down now even in the small hours, whereas only a week or so ago I could 70/80mbit down. Three report no faults in my area mind you!

Smarty had trouble porting my number over so have me £5 credit . Hope they don't put on the 1tb cap. I see that's on the three site .

on the three website yesterday it did say unlimited but if you went in to it it said 1tb. checked today same site they have changed it thats good to know. during first lock down i used 6tb . briill carry on as normal. ta for clarification .

Smarty wasn't at all bad in Irvine this morning, seems everywhere else can beat my 30/20 at home.

Yes you do indeed, you greedy animal. :giggle:
I had a GB left from my 4GB allowance, which reset today, happy days. 🥳
Thinking about getting unlimited at my next upgrade - who knows how much I'll use when i get a 5G phone!!!!!!!

Well I do need unlimited for the old router of course but my phone is only used for streaming amazon music anytime when out and about so 4GB fits the bill perfectly, and being a cheapskate I'm happy it's just £6 (£5.40) with the Smarty group discount.

Somehow my smarty account i closed ages ago is still active? I've not used it since february.

My 4G is faster than my home Fiber so USB tethering for my PC an online gaming it is. My spotify downloads exceed 26GB 🤣🤣🤣

Oh I thought unused accounts were closed after 6 months.
Oh well saves you signing up again using my referral link for a free month.

Just kidding. :giggle:

I have done well with the referrals that everyone was sick of me posting, 4 friends and 3 forum users, so I have 7 free months and 7 £15 credits ready for when my freebies end.

The £15 credits ended in August so you just get a free month now.

done well for yourself then haha, 7 months of free internet/mobile service!

Just had a nice surprise there in the post.

Yesterday three had an offer on Money Savers Expert for unlimited everything for £10 with a 2 year contract of course.

This wasn't the usual rise to £20 after 6 months contract, it was £10 for the whole 2 years.

When signing up for it the website understandably kept crashing with the demand, so I thought I had lost out.

The sim just arrived there, so now I dont have to worry about 5G being enabled on Smarty when my three pole of wonder eventually goes live.

I'll just cancel my Smarty unlimited and keep my mobile with them once my freeby time runs out.

Even with their rip off yearly rises it'll still be cheaper than my £16 with Smarty. (y)

It's been a happy day today folks. 🥳

I never discovered it till 10pm, and just after I tried to get the deal it was pulled Bubbles.

I even called 3 in the morning to see why I hadn't received any email and was told that the offer was no longer available they were sorry I missed out blah blah.

That's why I was so surprised the sim just turned up there.

If I had spotted it sooner I would have mentioned it here for sure Bubbles.

I called them up to ask about the sim because there was not any documentation to say what it was other than pay monthly and the number.

I thought they had just sent me out the tenner rising to £20 offer just hoping I wouldn't even ask what it was.

He said it was indeed the MSE offer at £10 for unlimited everything for 2 years.
