How to find your Router's IP

Hi guys. Recently I bought a Huawei b818. I am using a Smarty card ( 3 mobile) and I have Smart DNS from keepsolid. I have changed my DNS settings for my router, however, I have to update my External IP with keepsolid. How do I find this one? It is not the login one and in order to have all my traffic benefiting from this I will have to provide a valid IP. If I insert my sim into a phone will this provide me with a hardware related IP or I the IP will stay the same after going back to router? Are there any methods to find out this IP? Thank you

So the router IP (or Gateway IP) is usually the same one that you login with when connecting to your router's admin pages (often it'll be 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 or something like that). They often write this on the bottom of the router itself.

How to find these details depends upon what system you're using? If you're on a Windows 10 system, then left-click the 'computer icon' at the bottom right of taskbar, select your network, click 'change adapter options' on the right of the new window, then right-click the active network (ignore those with a red cross, if you have them) and select 'status' to see the IP setup.

You will be on CGNAT, so your phone and router get issued a shared external IP address which if you try to use it to find your router from outside your local network will fail. Only Three on one of their APN's issue a single IP address,

You can ask Google "whats my ip" or use online tools such as whatismyipaddress.com which will give you more information about the IP (ie geo locate, who it belongs to, etc)

I believe that particular APN changes the external IP quite a bit, like every few minutes/hours you could be using a different IP. If you are looking to connect to your network you might want to try an APN which gives out a more static or fixed IP, such as 3internet This APN dishes out an IP which stays with you until your connection is reset, so you won't have to update your IP with DNS service as often.
