Morning all. So we switched to FTTP about a month or so ago but at the time we left our landline with BT. We are now looking to port over our number as well, bit expensive to maintain just the landline with BT.
My new ISP (Fibrus) does offer VOIP however I have also been looking at sipgate, as I do like the idea of not having the phone locked to our current provider.
Only issue is Fibrus have locked down the voice settings on the provided router. So I am looking at getting a VOIP phone or some sort of base station I can plug our current phone into.
Looking for something pretty basic and cheap, so long as its cordless and can do all the config stuff on its own without needing the phone ports on the back of my router.
Any recommendations?
Thanks!
