Wonder if they’ll be better for web only, as I’m sure somewhere on here people report better activity.

Also, I’m curious to know if the apn would be different like Three has two.

Not new, been available to existing customers as a second line for a good few months. Might just be being more promoted now

Not too bad, unlimited for 20.
Lebara will give you 3gb+calls+intl for £5, though.

Tried it for a few days as a "group" SIM (get discount off by creating groups). Would be a good deal if you have access to a decent mast or two, however, in my case speed was absolutely rubbish, so cancelled it. Find it hard enough using the 4GB on other SIM due to congestion on the local mast!

They've been around for a while, but whats the point when they're worse value than the standard SMS/mins included SIMs?

I sent a query to Smarty and got the following response:


We are an MVNO, dependent on the Three network, we use CGNAT and therefore cannot assign static IP addresses either. Unfortunately, a network provider like Three or EE should be able to supply an account with a static IP address.
