lve just changed some of my hardware, namely a Sky Q modem/router and added my own personal router to the network.

basically lm in need of a little advice, my plan is to connect a couple of devices to my router that require port forwarding, which l have no issue doing. my question is do l put my new routers IP in the DMZ bypassing the settings required to be done on the Sky Q modem.. OR reserve myself an IP on my router (which l plan on doing shortly when l boot up my PS4) and just setup port forwarding on the Sky Q box and new router?

Personally I have always used port forwarding, only DMZ if I had too as I could not get something working. Last resort option for me.

l ended up reserving the IP of my new router on the sky modem then did port forwarding on my new router seems to be working alright so far.
