Better Broadband subsidy scheme

I have just applied for and been given a code for the Government's Better Broadband scheme which applies to anyway with a standard broadband connection of less than 2meg. This gives me a grant of £350 (with an approved supplier) towards installing either satellite or mobile 3G/4G broadband. From what I can read satellite still gets very mixed reviews while mobile seems a better bet if the signal is good enough. It looks as if 3 or EE are the most likely candidates.
Has anyone done this recently? Any advice welcomed.

Assuming those two are your only options then I'd pick a Mobile Broadband connection every time, provided the local 4G coverage is good enough.

However you might be better off getting a special 4G based fixed wireless service that uses the EE network rather than going with EE directly, not least because this means you can get a good external antenna installed (better service quality).
