[£76.24] Motorola Edge 20 5G 6.7", Refurbished, Grade B

That's an O2 host issue, no way to fix it but you'll still be mapping Vodafone (I had it once in VF host but that was a weird bug with low signal strengths).

Someone mentioned it a while back but I can't remember there. Cellmapper distinguishes sector IDs to map Vodafone/O2 in this scenario.
I noticed this doesn’t occur on Orion poles where VF have 5G

Mine arrived with Android 11, no case, only charging cable but not a mark on it.

Used Moto Rescue Assistant to immediately upgrade to last month's Android 13.

Still impressed with it... the stock OS was pretty laggy but lineage is very smooth on it aswell. I found a scratch on the back but it's so subtle I think this could've easily passed as an A grade device

Speeds are good, seemingly around the same as my iphone until it gets to the above 700 numbers

I'm using https://wiki.oddsolutions.us/devices/berlin/ as Google Apps are included and it's from one of the LineageOS developers.

Mine is pristine, not a mark but no case included. One happy bunny it looks unused.

I was only interested in another modem tether but a good phone so will pass it on to family when I have compared the Mediatek Dimensity 700 and the Qualcomm SM7325 Snapdragon 778G 5G in this phone.

I have always been curious since EE heralded the iPhone (proprietary chip) and then later sought Qualcomm's help which infers the tweaking of config/policies based on the UE response for Android phones. So my idle curiosity is whether the two Android chip families behave the same or not on different masts/providers/policies.
The Edge 20 was about twice the price of my budget Moto G50 5G and Samsung A22 5G (both Dimensity 700). USB 2.0 restrictions for any tether of course.

Why?

Actual LineageOS includes microg support these days
Really? Didn't know that, didn't used to be the case. The Microg builds also come with device signature spoofing which lineageos were against.

This has nearly the same chipset as the Nothing Phone 1.
There's a weird YouTube glitch on LineageOS with audio due to the mono speaker.
