Sorry I assumed this was on CityFibreNot much use if not in a CityFibre area, though, is it?
Getting quotes for £771.6Gbps package for new customers. £70
I am not in the CityFibre area, they offer 1.6Gbps with openreach infrastructure. Not much use if not in a CityFibre area, though, is it?
They've decreased it again then, it went up to £77.
This is likely a mistake from Vodafone, CityFibre GPON is 1Gb uploadI believe the 1.6 Gb/s service for 70 notes is on Openreach tails, VF is offering me 1.8 Gb/s down & up for the same price (i'm in Cityfibre area).
Also i see Yazi doesn't offer me more than 1 Gb/s upload on the 2 Gbps plan, yet VF can. Any idea why Yazi are crippling the upload in my area?
To expand on the @Bawlk reply, Cityfibre coverage isnt universal in its capability, some areas are XGS-PON enabled, and most are GPON only.I believe the 1.6 Gb/s service for 70 notes is on Openreach tails, VF is offering me 1.8 Gb/s down & up for the same price (i'm in Cityfibre area).

Will you be using your own kit connected directly to the ONT?I've just ordered this. Will see how it goes. It would be great to pay less, to get symmetric, to get the same thing for less money or whatever but it's not an option for me where I live. Openreach or nothing if you want actual FTTP here.
I am planning to use my own yes. I have a 10G switch and a bunch of copper SFP+s that do 1/2.5/5/10G so i'm hoping that I can do something myself instead of using the supplied one. Can you tell me about what router they supply? Will you be using your own kit connected directly to the ONT?
The included router will be a bit limited with the 2.5Gbps ethernet port being consumed by the ONT, and the only other port exceeding 1Gbps being SFP, unless you are happy with 940Mbps to a single device?
Sounds like you have things covered, although you'll need something to do routing since the ONT doesn't cover this.I am planning to use my own yes. thanks ill take a read of those. yeah i use a mixture of opnsense, openwrt, and openmptcprouter right now. I think i'll be re-designing my home network when it arrives. Not too happy with OPNsense lately.Sounds like you have things covered, although you'll need something to do routing since the ONT doesn't cover this.

Vodafone’s Ultra Hub Brings Wi-Fi 6E to UK Households
ISP-supplied routers are improving as Vodafone offers the Wi-Fi 6E Ultra Hub with backup mobile network service in the UK.www.wired.com
Could be one of the 4 I returnedGot my router today, there's dust in every single port, and insertion marks on the USB for the 4G "dongle". Think they've given me a used router. If they refurbed it, they didn't even bother to clean it. Highly disappointing to get their top-tier product and then get given a used router. It was sealed in the box, but yeah, dust inside ports. Lots of it.
