10gb Limit

I am with zen internet at £34.99 a month (unlimited usages) but I am now working 40 hours a week and often go out weekend as I think I won't be using broadband much these days now, as for zen internet is my top number one best broadband but they cannot offering me 10gb usages for a cheaper price as I had to look elsewhere as zen understood and gave me the mac code free of charge straight away with no problem. Now, I am still searching isps with great broadband next to zen quality but can use at least 10gb usages a month for under £20 a month.

I was thinking of joining NDO or Names Co as both are believed to be the same company together. They had 2mb for 10gb usages at £19.95 per month inc vat but I don't know how much it cost for extra gb inc vat. I think I read somewhere like £1 per gb or £1.50 per gb inc vat. NDO had improvement of great 0845 local call numbers instead of 0870. I heard that NDO is only count on downloading not uploading on usages which it great bonus. What about off-peak hours (are there unlimited usages or not ?)

I am sure that Sam or Lighterboy can tell me what I should do? I had a mixed feeling of others isps offering under £20 but it had to be best quality broadband that the most important to me. I know NDO does as I am with them before on home500 then home1000 before left them to join plusnet on 2mb speed as I am glad that NDO now have 2mb and hopefully I pick the right migration to NDO ?

I don't want to regret myself like speed dropping like I had with my ex-core isp. If Zen Internet does have 10gb usages on home 2000 for under £20 - I would stayed with Zen but no point to waste £34.99 a month if I don't use it much.

f2s - £19.99
plus.net - £19.99
dmcdial.co.uk -£17.99 (unlimited)

f2s are having problems right now so bulldog wouldnt be happy with the loss of speed.
he has just left plusnet
dmcdial can't advise

Bulldog, you may as well go back to Plusnet for your revised usage needs, they have an offer on at the moment that would seem to meet your requirements.

They may have many faults, but at least they are reliable and reasonably priced.

I been with plusnet before as I had a chat with plusnet customer support advise about plusnet payasyougo 2mb 10gb for only £19.99 a month but they do count both uploading and downloading and this offer won't last forever - it will return to 1gb in March as the offer is only last a month.

I been with plusnet before but I think I had to pick NDO / Namesco because they don't count uploading on these 10gb.

Where is lighterboy or sam from ndo ? I still awaiting to hear from these both to give me advise before I can decide. My mac code is expiries next month so there is no rush for me to migration at the moment.

I may be wrong on this Bulldog, but I am fairly sure it does not return to 1GB in March, the offer ends then, not the terms.

Yes they do count up and downloading tho'

Good luck with your search, you at least will have a good knowledge of many ISP's..;)

hi

ndo/namesco are the same company
its £1 per gb over the included 10gb however people do not seem to be being charged for extra usage unless its excessive - ie 12 to 20gb seems to still be free..

ndo/namesco onyl count downloads

remember support is 24/7/365 on 0845 local rate too...

go back to namesco/ndo they are still reliable, no speed issues, no congestion and they have abnother pipe on order too - ie they add capacity before problems hit with speed/congerstion unlike freedom2surf plusnet etc..

Ndo / Namesco

Thanks lighterboy and GJH for the reply. I had been thinking hard and I know my own experience of my past isp's who are worse, good or excellent. I had finally made up my mind and I am going back to NDO because I was with them before and never let me down as I do believe that home 2000 with 10gb a month for £19.95 a month sound great budget to suit my need. I believe that I won't be regret of going back to NDO but if I did go back to Plusnet, I will be taking Graham's tablet as Plusnet are the worse traffic shaping on every packages from payasyougo to teleworker, no matter what they say but they did throttle on it but won't tell customers or admit it.

NDO is the only isp that are truely professional support and honest as I shall looking forward going back to NDO. Glad that NDO have home 2000 at last ! :)

Which site should I migration to?

NDO or NAMESCO ?? I know them both are same company but which site is better and easy going ?? I will order migration to either to them both first thing on Monday when they are back to work.

You can order via www.ndo.com or www.names.co.uk

There's no difference between the two. Same products, prices and specifications.

The websites are almost identical. It's just two different brands.

There is no difference. Use: http://www.ndo.com/order/adsl/migrate.php

You may be able to add broadband to your former "homedial" account if you remember the email and password for logging into the control panel...

The problems on f2s seem to have been resolved after the statement on last weeks ispr news.
Not had any problems since then and speeds are back to normal for me

Ndo

I had now given mac code to NDO. Should be activation with them a week today on Monday, 6th of February. I sign up home 2000 10gb at £19.95 a month. Hope I won't be regret myself now.
