128k Sign-up Help

Hi, I wanted to sign up for the 128k service.

I got to the stage where it wanted details of the ISDN phone numbers, and it asked for two. I only know the one, and wasn't aware there was a second.

Do I have to give two numbers, and if so how do I find it out?

Thanks...

Only 1 number is needed. You can also give your analog number so that if your ISDN line isn't working you have a backup connection.

David and Those Who Know...

The service is up and running, but I just cannot get the modem to connect at 128k. Always 64k. It is an Zyxel Omni TA 128.

Whenever I try anything with the modem settings, it invariable stops working altogether, and I have to reset it and reboot to get it to work again.

Is there anything obvious I should try?

Thanks...

click on your dialup conection
click properties
make sure you have both your 64k isdn boxses ticked (ie mine is ISDN channel AVM NDIS Capi driver)
click ok then try conecting.

Nowhere do I have this option, to tick a box about a second channel.

When I click on the connection, and click Properties, I get...

Quik Internet Properties, with tabs including (General, Options, Security, Networking, Advanced). There is also a Configure button for the modem, where you can specify the protocol. I tried changing this to 128kPPP but no difference.
