----------------------------------------
This email affect SurfAnytime 128K ISDN users ONLY

First of all, let me thank all of you who took time to complete our short
survey.
From these results, we now know that the majority of our customers :

Use less than 8 hours per day

Find a first time connection an important factor

Currently experience less than 5 redials and that this is also acceptable

Most of you think that long cut-off times and a higher monthly time-online
allowance is important
57% of you say that you would not pay more for a lower contention ratio,
this is probably due to you being under the impression we are currently
running at 10:1 - We are currently running at 8:1.

With this in mind, it is highly likely this is the reason why 73% of Diamond
users say they prefer a 10:1 package.

It is clear to us that the current provision is meeting the demands of our
customers.
Unfortunately, we will no longer be providing a solution that is delivered
at 8:1 whilst charging for a 10:1 product.

As you will be aware, first time connections to our service have been
excellent over the past few months. In order to continue providing this
high level of service, we have been investigating ways and means to meet
this demand.

While the basic tenets of our service remain, we have realigned our products
based on current customer usage, our business objectives, product value and
product direction. These changes will take immediate effect for new
customers and from February 1st 2003 for existing customers.

In order to prioritise your first time connections the following product
realignments must be implemented :

Our Diamond product will now become known as Diamond 150
Our Diamond+ product will now become known as Diamond 200
An additional product, Diamond 175 will be implemented.

Product details :

Diamond 150

Business Package
No change

We realise that these changes may come as a surprise to you but these

Other changes :-

We have already upgraded email server hardware and software, securing your
email from spam and viruses with our filtering implementation.
Our 128 dialup service will now be operating at a lower contention rate of
8:1 across the board.
We will also be adding new port supply from an alternative port supplier,
our tests show a good increase in throughput, more solid, reliable
connections, STAC compression and forthcoming static IP addresses.
The lifting of the restriction on port 25 (SMTP) is also pending.

What next ?

The rebranding of the products will take place today with new AUP's being
implemented from 1st Feb.

We will be changing payment details over the next few days, a receipt of
which will be emailed directly to you from WorldPay.
If you do not whish to continue your service, either login to your user
control panel and cancel your account there, or email
customer.services@surfanytime.com

Those customers wishing to continue their service will have their payments
altered as above and their package profiles altered on January 31st.

These changes have not been taken lightly and are required in order for us
to continue to provide a high quality product and remain a viable business.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact myself or
customer.services@surfanytime.com

Kind Regards

Personally I found thier service very good, but with these new price plans, I for one cannot afford it , with people up the street shelling out for 19.99 a month for a conenction that is far superior to mine, with no cut off, and permanent conenction.

and they even get free connection, where we are still paying 50 quid , and then 3 lines rentals a quarter.

another ISP down the PAN for me :-/
