Any idea on the link for 1p’s offer on the ISPreview’s homepage please?

When I go to their website I just get :-

I suspect the issue has to do with the fact that you may get different package options in FTTP-only areas vs FTTC ones. But equally 1p's checker seems to be a bit quirky, as I did a check of my own address and only got their £23 package as an option, despite being covered by FTTP.

I just wish there was some way to find out who offers a service on my area. I am getting fed up with entering my postcode into websites claiming to offer one thing only to be told they don’t!

The £23 offer is FTTC, so you must be in an FTTP only area.

My offers are
100M £29
500M £39
900M £49
So you don’t see the FTTC one either? Does the checker say you are in FTTP preferred area?

Totally agree. I have said it before Ofcom should mantain a national registry of all properties and the service available to them. Then people should be able to search for ISPs and see all their offerings in one place.

I agree, but I suspect it's a bit of a tricky matrix, you would need the property, infrastructure (including fixed and mobile wireless) providers available to the property, and then the ISPs or Communication Providers available over that infrastructure. Where the infra is tied to the communication provider it's an easy relationship to surface to a consumer, but where it's a wholesale infra provider (Openreach, CityFibre, etc) I would imagine it's harder to know which ISPs/CPs have opted to sell their service in that area.

Obviously if OFCOM were to build a database and mandate the industry to keep it up to date they would have their job done for them, but without that mandate I would imagine it's quite hard to build this info at the moment.
