Think I'm going to cancel my Smarty SIM. The constant switching between 3G/4G or various 4G bands eats so much battery.
No problems. Been like this for at least 6-7 years. What does their status checker say?, my known 3G areas usually good

3G to 4G
Hello I currently have a Three mobile. I see Three are switching off 3G coverage shortly. There is no 4G coverage in my area (North Wales) and even 3G is patchy. How do I find out when the switchover will happen and what plans Three have for improving coverage in this area. Their online "help"...community.three.co.uk

So far in their 3G switch off areas they have switched off 3G from masts that includes 4G but left the 3G only ones on.Guessing O2 is being overoptimistic there
Do we know whether they're keeping 3G only sites up?
