Doing a speedtest in my house not at the Caravan on 3 is abysmal 2 down 4up but when I attached it to a Bluespot Mini 5g ONLY antenna and fitted 4m up outside facing the direction of the nearest 5g mast I got 350-400 down 5 up but the ping was around 60-over 100 at times.
I have now sent for the Poynting XPOL-2-5G Antenna V3 antenna and hoping it improves my upload speed and timings. I should have it Saturday so will post back my results.
Depending on your router the Poynting antenna may not make a difference.
A lot or the networks are still using the 4g bearer for upload. If the router has an external antenna for 5G and uses its internal antenna for 4g the upload will be similar to using a phone inside your house.
Modifying the router to accept an external antenna on 4g and 5G will make a massive difference - mine went from <20 Mbps upload in 3 to 140Mbps.
Google router-mods for more info and see if your router can be modified to add extra antenna ports for 4g.
