It remains the property of Three network until you finished your contract thats what they told me I wonder if I can unlock itThats not how that works. When you terminate your contract with them, they will ask of you to send it back. It remains their property forever. They permanently lock them too so if you do try to unlock them it wont work. They use all the 10 Attempts up to make it impossible. You will see this if you insert a different network's sim in.

How comes I was able to keep the deviceIf you can't accept the answer, don't ask the question
Have you already left them? How comes I was able to keep the device
Yes I left them spoke to the broadband team told me to go to https://www.three.co.uk/Support/Device_Unlock and fill all the infoHave you already left them?
I was told i had to return mine which i did
That wont work! Even if you do have the code, you won't be able to input it into the device! They waste all the unlocking attempts so it cannot be done. Insert the Vodafone sim you have in your main phone and see what happens.Yes I left them spoke to the broadband team told me to go to https://www.three.co.uk/Support/Device_Unlock and fill all the info
I did that but i just wanted 5G broadband why cant we input itThat wont work! Even if you do have the code, you won't be able to input it into the device! They waste all the unlocking attempts so it cannot be done. Insert the Vodafone sim you have in your main phone and see what happens.
You can't input it because you only have 10 attempts and three exhaust those attempts at the factory so the 5G routers are PERMANENLY LOCKEDI did that but i just wanted 5G broadband why cant we input it
NOT THE 5G DEVICESCall Three customer service they say all there devices are unlocked
They told me they areNOT THE 5G DEVICES
Look, as i said before, if you aren't going to accept the answer, don't ask the question. You are unwilling to listen to what i am saying and are constantly contradicting me and saying i am not correct when i have personally owned one of these devices AND IT WAS LOCKED. Test by yourself with payg sims. If it works great and if it doesn't, i told you so.They told me they are
I called Huawei they said it shouldn't do that it should let you enter the code I told them what you told me they said they dont permanently lock your deivce I think it might be the firmware three added to prevent entering the codeYou can't input it because you only have 10 attempts and three exhaust those attempts at the factory so the 5G routers are PERMANENLY LOCKED
I'm not replying to this thread any more. If you are so bothered, test yourself. This applies to all devices. When you are unlocking a router or phone etc you get 10 Attempts to unlock it, and after those 10 Attempts the device is permanently locked. Three add custom firmware yes, and put the unlock code in incorrectly 10 times to permanently prevent you from unlocking them.I called Huawei they said it shouldn't do that it should let you enter the code I told them what you told me they said they dont permanently lock your deivce I think it might be the firmware three added to prevent entering the code
Three network are investigating they said 5G cpe pro device shouldn't be locked told them the entering lock code bit was greyed out hope get a good outcomeLook, as i said before, if you aren't going to accept the answer, don't ask the question.
