Yeah, I don't think that's n28. It's just the lte band 28 as per the specs.
It'll be fine in some cling film, it's pouring here, I can try if you like. How is the CPE pro2 an outdoor router?
Hi Lucian, I didn't want to post a direct link for fear of breaking any spam rules, but if you do a cpe pro 2 search on ebay, you'll find it no poblem. That's so cool! @devs might be interested as he is working on modding his. Care to share a link?
Wonder if the mod covers 5G, too.
Thats really helpful Dabigm, its such a shame there isn't a standard for 4g router manufacturers to follow which specifies a minimum number of channels. Currently the industries "throw a dart" and see where it lands approach doesn't help customers who want to maximize their download speeds when purchasing 4g/5g routers. Its not like there are a multitude of other variables that can impact this anyway, this haphazard approach to manufacture just complicates the matter further still. After much reading.. I've narrowed my 5G router down to a couple of choices. It's really hard to find one that actually covers the UKs 5G bands and also get as many 4G bands in there as I can.
If anyone is interested, this is what I've narrowed them down to ,perhaps it will help someone make their decision. I based this from spec sheets, manuals, websites that sell them so I take no responsibility for the accuracy but i did my best.

I still can't decide, but it's going to be one of the above.
Antenna? means can it accept an external one. N/A if it's an external router.
Can you imagine this guys roof top?Yeah, found him. Interesting service, definitely a niche to be filled.
Yeah will work wonderful, I also use poynting antennas though I use x2 xpol-2-5g in 4x4 mimo configuration.Hey buddy and nice mod, I'm about to do similar on a H112-370 and would like to hoot it up to a Poynting 4G-XPOL-A0002. I live in a 4G area and doubt 5G will hit anytime soon. Do you think it will work okay?
Cheers![]()
