perhaps its taking so long where they laid off all those staff

I DON’T wont them 2 come like BT

oh i agree the human touch is damn good, but surley for something as simple as upgrading a connection speed where a cust service operator probs simply changes a box on the users account.

also means that if the staff are less tied up on "trivial" tasks like that they can help people who actually need help more quickly.

Mark my connection is ok now(for time being).

Try taking off the dns serves from the ip properties . and restart. All working now.

I changed my ip as well now I'm back @ 62.30.xx.xx

Will see... :)

If you read the post above, you will actually find that although it might not have been 30 minutes, it was a little over 24 hours.

:D

i have the telewest 1mg.
can you tell me if you really think this is faster than the 512k adsl for normal surfing or are you all just impressed with the download speeds of large files?
maybe there is a problem with my service,as i see little difference over the 512k adsl, and telewest are refusing to admit it.

Mmm in general surfing u wont find any different between 512 and 1 mbit . it’s only matter wen u download heavy files. If u don’t use lot of downloading ten 512kb is more tan enough
