I find EE to be the problem here. When thEEy email/text base station work Three really slows down when it’s complete.Yeah, the Three 5G mast in my town (carries EE 4G as well) is marked MBNL, performance is quite bad compared to other areas ive tested.
EE is 5G here Three isn’t (backhaul upgrades pending), I won’t touch EE with a barge pole their care staff are sales staff they give no hoots about problems other than selling you a upgrade that will apparently resolve the problem you’ve replicated on numerous devices, EyEroll. Couldn’t run a copper broadband network let alone wireless!
Thankful the old industrial chimney base station is shared by all 4, Lebara 5G 200Megs cap for now awaiting Three 5G. £35 to Voda 5G or £12.50 to Leb was a no brainier!
o2 was rather good aswell. EE wanted another £40 a month to go 5G on sim only and they wanted a 18m term (lol, just LOL), roll on Three 5G the big boys 5G network.
If Three ain’t live in Nov I’ll be off back to o2 5G £25pm.
