A good laugh plus a way to beat speed cameras.

...This may be an example of the famous British sense of humour...

They may not have a sense of humour about this, as an ambassador once said "A German joke is no laughing matter.". They must have a good idea of who this is from the number plate, and since he's making fun of them you can bet they'll pull out all the stops to fine/prosecute.

Well Kits

If you happen to be near Putney Vale heading for the A3 you will need to take one of those muffets as there are some of those cameras in situ all over London now:smilet: spent the weekend up there. Big Brother is watching:eek:

tell you one thing that gets me tho, is these days they teach ppl to, you can actually fail a test for not driving to the limit.. and we are talking in perspective to "just 5mph" below the limit.. my friend drove 35 through a 40 and he failed for it...

That's a bit silly, since the speed limits are a maximum speed, not a target speed (as the nice man at my speed awareness course condescendingly informed me).

IMO, drivers driving considerably under the speed limit (assuming good conditions) are almost as much of a danger as speeder, since all it achieves is frustration and a greater willingness to take risks to get past the slower car.

35 in a 40 should not be a problem though!

even on my bike doing a test l was forced to go "to the speed limit" while that wasnt a problem it felt like there was a fast care behind me trying to push me on.. and it was kinda annoying especially the fact based upon the fact something like this would have more possibility of causing an accident.

personally if one is within the designated limit it shouldnt matter what speed he/she drives as long as the speed is both following the limitations of said road and also taking into consideration other motorists.

Thanks Kits - I've pinched this for a site I frequent :)

timeless, what bike have you got and are you managing to get out on it? It was very damp this morning and by the time the sun had started to dry the road, the gritters had been out, so I decided not to bother with the bike. :(

not licenced at the moment, tho l drove one on CBT for 2yrs.. seems the main issue examiners have with me is l wont break the speed limit and they think lm going too slow which is BS, however l have a Suzuki Intruder LC 125cc, my dad picked it and l think altho it looks sweet it wasnt practical and is too much of a posers bike, l did used to have a Yamaha DT 250cc trials bike which l stupidly sold for £200 the carb on that was worth at least £800 due to its plating so in hindsight lm kinda peeved l did.. l still have a Suzuki TS50X was the first one l rode on the road.. my dad has a Suzuki Beamish 350cc another trials bike its got an amazing chrome frame, and his pride and joy the Suzuki Bandit GSF600S which was a limited edition model from 2003 needs some minor work but its one hell of a bike.. and it only has 1000 miles on the clock!
