Considering BT are trailing webwise again this is for those who spend time building a website perhaps reviewing products, writing news reports or even with an online shop. If BT rolls out this system your content will be profiled to harvest keywords then targeted adverts directed to your visitors/possible customer to direct them to your competitors.

You need to sig the petition now to either have this breach of your copyright stopped or make BT libel to pay licence fees to the website owners. Every one with a website needs to stop BT using their copyright for commercial gain.

Currently there are plans afoot to use certain targetted advertising that will scan all content going through a persons internet connection. This content comes from copywrited websites and sources that the ISP does not own and has no right to use to create income for themselves.

This either needs to be stopped, or these ISPs need to pay a fee to every website owner whos terms and conditions are breached by their data mining.

BBC seem to share information with omniture or did as i was deleting cookies from them after visiting the BBC but this time I had a cookie placed on there for http://www.revsci.net/
