I was very surprised that the most well known isp Zen Internet as one of the best broadband quality in UK and the most expensive on home 2mb at £34.99 as the speed is my 1st time awful poor and very very slow as a snail speed dropped below 250k. I always get best performance over 1840k for the whole week with Zen except today was a big let down by poor ADSL speed test. Here is my first two test results:
Zen internet 2mb at 6:21pm
http://www.adslguide.org.uk/tools/speedchart.asp?id=de2afdcd109312591b4d2c933ed
Downstream 268 Kbps (33.5 KB/sec) 289 Kbps (inc. overheads)
Upstream 243 Kbps (30.4 KB/sec) 262 Kbps (inc. overheads)
Zen Internet 2mb at 6:34pm
http://www.adslguide.org.uk/tools/speedchart.asp?id=7c4e701a109313178363d457915
Downstream 736 Kbps (92.0 KB/sec) 794 Kbps (inc. overheads)
Upstream 248 Kbps (31.0 KB/sec) 267 Kbps (inc. overheads)
I won't be complaint to their support centre because I was expecting to migration over to NDO anytime next week. But overall, that Zen does a best performance speed for most of the times during both peak and off-peak hours and weekend but today, it just a big drop in speed. Probably my exchange get very heavy traffic today.
I am leaving Zen because of over priced £34.99 but never use pc alots these days, that why NDO suit my best need with cheaper at £19.99 with 10gb including for 2mb. I don't think that Zen will never get cheaper like capped it but Zen are always TRUELY UNLIMITED for last longer.
