Hi
I'm hoping you can help me. Apologies if this is the wrong place on the forum to post, just let me know where I should move the thread to.
I'm a bit of a luddite and about to upgrade from my dial-up to broadband. I'm also due a mobile upgrade. The people at Orange are tempting me to do both with them, as the broadband is free. Obviously I'd like to not have to pay for my broadband at all. However, lunches don't come free, and there's no trial period for the service. Which means if it's rubbish (as I fear it might be) I'm stuck with it for 18 months. If I want to cancel I'll have to pay a canellation fee of £17.99 for the remainder of the contract.
So here's my question - If I don't want to cancel but I want to change to a better provider, what can i do? Can I just unplug it? Could I get eg Zen broadband whilst I still have the Orange? Can a phone line support 2 broadband connections, even if one of them isn't actually being used?
Thanks for your help.
