After V21 my nightmare wasn't ended elsewhere (Pipex)

A few people are saying that Fast4 are great - well they used to be. I was with them and never had a problem that they didn't resolve with courtesy and understanding - then they switched me to V21!
Fast4 was an 'offshoot' off V21...a-la you signed up to Fast4 but your money went to V21....So what you experienced was being taken from V21(aka Fast4) and put back on V21 (Proper).......;)

Fast 4 was owned by V21, I think it more accurate to describe the old Fast4 as a V21 Brand. As far as I know V21/fast4's owners sold V21 to Biscit, customers and all, but kept back the Fast4 brand name to trade under, and are rumoured to be using Eurisp as their supplier.

So what he experienced was being sold by V21(aka Fast4) to Biscit CSV(aka V21).

Hi if you was on the NetServices network witht hem your tag should have already been removed freeing you up to join any ISP you wanted.

Try calling 0800 169 0934 (Option 1) which is the BT Wholesale Marker removal line that end users can call. Ask them if your line is tagged and who has the tag. we can then sort out the best path as for money going from your acount and no connection. If its a CC then contact them and ask them to claim the money back explain why. If this is a recurring charge to a master card or Visa card then they will be quick to step in as htey have changed the ruling on recurring charges on CC.[/QUOTE]

hi well, i phoned BT with liitle sucess, but to get another number for V21/biscit. which i phoned and final got through to someone, they took my detail and sadi someone would ring me back,, hahaha i thought,, i will never get the call.

Well i did, today, and i am now connected ,, yeah ho!!!!

Thanks for your help. and i think im now sorted, oh except for the emails not sending, wronf smtp addie i think, but the road is never completly smooth.

Thank again, Have a nice day now...hehehehe

Well my phone line switch to Pipex went through as told on 2 January but my Broadband didn't until the 16th January. Considering I first applied to Pipex on 4th December this has been a dialup nightmare for over 5 weeks. My three registraions with them were due to their inefficency. Glasgow spelled twice with a double 's' (?) thus cancelling me out then they added to my postoce causing the same again. I do intend to write to complain that they delayed me considerably and caused me a lot of money on dialup through negligence.

The good point is that I am now on 7.2 speed but this should never have taken so long causing me much inconvenience as well as repeated phone calls to them and all my extra cost. I do miss the old v21 but the speeds now are a joy.

You have to remember though whilst you were inconvenienced (and I do feel sorry for the hassle you've been subjected to)...it is human nature to err....

"My three registraions with them" (registrations)
"due to their inefficency" (inefficiency)
"they added to my postoce causing" (postcode)

Better make sure you spellcheck any complaint...what? ;)
Glad you are now up and running now though! :)
