Hi,

Currently subcribe to the Family 30 package with the above Entanet reseller, whist the 30Gb allowance during peak hours is sufficient, during off peak Usenet is used alot with upto 10-15Gb per night.

However I now keep getting the ALT implemented and have requested my MAC from Titan.
I am looking for an ISP with around 300GB off peak allowance with around the peak allowance as above, and most importantly I do not want to be tied to a 12month Contract, would prefer 1 month, but would consider 3 months.

The only one that seems to suit our needs is Vispa, but review seem hit & miss.

Our Excahange is Stowmarket, it shows it is ADSL2+ enabled but doesn't show up on any of the many ADSL2+ ISP's.

Any ideas wouold be much appreciated.

The crucial thing here will be whether or not your local telephone exchange supports any unbundled suppliers/ISP. Stick just your phone number in here and wait for our report to load as that should give you the answer:

Entanet is still one of the most flexible BT based ISPs for broadband allowance, but the kind of usage levels you're talking about are excessive for most consumers and will require a cheaper platform.. meaning an unbundled solution.

Ideally you want to be looking at the top-end packages from Be Broadband , O2 , Sky Broadband (Unlimited) and so forth, although these all require your exchange to be covered by their unbundled services.

Thanks for the reply Mark, however could not get the checker working on this site!!

As I said in my post though do not want a 12 Month Contract with LLU, but want genuine Unlimited with no Traffic Shaping / ALT, which is what I get with Entanet at the moment, was ok when we were on the 30/300 package.

Just lookin for an alternative to an Entanet reseller with a max 3 month contract

Aquiss have a LLU product but your exchange has to be unbundled if its only BT products then you have no chance. I am on Aquiss LLU unliminted downloads its on the cable & wirless network

Hmm should only be a matter of entering your full phone number (inc. area code), without spaces, and then clicking submit query. Please let me know what you did so I can resolve any problems.

In the meantime you could try the SamKnows checker, although as I write this their website is offline for maintenance: http://www.samknows.com/ .
