Antenna for Three 5G Hub?

How have you found the XPOL-24 so far? I’m in a similar position being rural, debating going down the route of 2 P-60’s and 2 P-62 for 4x4 MIMO or picking up an XPOL-24. Would rather avoid the headache of mounting the Iskra’s and dealing with the wiife!

Only tested in the loft so far, am away on hols so will mount in September. P-62's appear to give marginally slightly better upload speeds and 5G signal strength, but a bit subjective in the loft and cabling differences with the xpol-24 might be at play.

The P-62's use Accordia Vector WL240 Cable.

I've used X-400 10m cable and also H155PE which is better than LMR240 but not as good as LMR400, but much more flexible.

The LMR400 is apparently 0.3dB loss per meter at 3.5GHz, but man is the cable ridiculously stiff. So much so that having four attached to the XPOL-24 makes it rather difficult to orientate and must put stress on connectors perhaps.

When I'm back will mount outside.

Have built some antenna setup using e5103e. Using Xpol v3 and or iskra P62. My recommendation: learn how to replace antenna-conectors. Cut all antenna-cables that are less than LMR400 or 600 as short as possible. Use LMR600 for Max 7-8m and lmr400 5-7m. When pointing your antennas lock only the highest 4g band.

The attachéd pictures is a three (modified with some extra Sma. But the x4 ts9 performs equal to the internal Sma-ports) This n5103e using x2 Xpol v3. Distance to mast 1000m. Performance in Mbit 650-850down 120up.

Finally got an antenna mounted. I was going to go with Vodafone as I have 3km line of sight to the mast and strongest signal, but realised the packet loss at peak times just crippled use especially streaming. A blessing in disguise as I was about to mount an antenna on the apex and the guy couldn't because of the close proximity to my neighbour. This would need a cherry picker at an additional cost of £250.. anyway I went back to drawing board and found I could get reasonable 5G from Three from other side of the house, so after two weeks with just the modem, I got the XPOL-24 fitted with LMR400 Cables fitted.

Current FTTC BT is 29mbps down, 7mbps up, 12ms pings for £39!, with this I get 250 to 350mpbs down and 20mbps up and around 35ms pings.. for £16 a month unlimited on smarty.

Upload is heavily dependent on B28 so would suggest I don't have clear line of sight with the mast, which is unsurprising as i am down in a dip with trees in the way. So using B3 as 4G control and N78 5G download and upload.

Just need to get cables routed into the airing cupboard to mount 5103e centrally in the house.

Thought I'd add pics of my router setup now I've made it more permanent and central.

At 4am I've had 450mpbs out of it. When it rains heavily speed can drop to 150mbps (I presume dropping from 4x4 MIMO to 2x2 MIMO) , but that's way better than my old FTTC 29mbps. I normally get a consistent 200 - 280mbps. Not bad at 2.5km away and through trees. Wonder if speeds will improve as leaves start to drop.
