Any experiences with Fibrely.co.uk?

Just came across and ISP called Fibrely via the money savings expert website...

They offer a 1gig line via Openreach for £40/month (pretty competitive price)...

Never heard of them before and can't find much information, either...

Anyone here with more info and/or experience?

Cheers :)

Going to assume it's just a couple of guys with a TalkTalk reseller account and an API, that sort of scale.
Those prices, it's likely Vodafone

They were Origin Broadband
Origin Broadband is on the list of "acquired brands" on Telecom Acquisitions' site (aka Home Telecom): https://www.telecomacquisitions.co.uk/acquired-brands/

They were originally a Digital Region supplier in South Yorkshire, but it was a flop - I used them back when they were a local ISP and 40/10 via DR was the best speed available, and the connection was okay but CS was crap.

The company that has become Fibrely seems to have been Origin Broadband Business. Origin Broadband Ltd itself (same directors) changed its name and went bust in 2021 owing £38 million:

Does anyone know what router Fibrely provides?

I see on a recent Trustpilot review that it is supposedly a decent ASUS router, but I'd be interested to know what model.

For anyone wondering, it's the ASUS RT-AX57

Just tripped up over their pricing in a comparison. But their T&Cs still say that they will increase their prices by CPI +3.9% in April. Nothing shows up in the ordering process before you need to impart personal data about price increases at all.

So I opened an online chat to clarify this because OFCOM have forbidden such practice and their response was that the OFCOM regulation doesn't apply until Jan 2025 and as such they won't update their T&Cs or disclose their future price increase strategy until then. I pointed out that this is exactly what OFCOM are trying to prevent with their regulation and all their competitors are being transparent with their new price increase strategy, and the online chat agent had no answer to that.

Yeah... I think these days you can find Openreach full fibre for a similar price by better ISPs

Agree, I didn't proceed with a order, and they were not the cheapest. I was more interested in who they were. But I did point out to someone on the end of their chat function that they were being dishonest with their pricing.
