i am leaving f4 on 13th i hope anyway got this today

Following our communication last week regarding important changes to your
broadband package we are pleased to report that these changes are now
complete.

We have identified that the package most suitable for you is our "Max Home
Standard" package which includes 15GB per month of inclusive transfer
allowance and is priced at £16.95 per month.

Your account has now therefore been switched to this package and your
profile has been updated. You can see these changes as well as monitor
your bandwidth usage through your members area which is accessible from
our web site.

There are no restrictions with this account type and you can use the
account as much or as little as you require. If you use (or expect to use)
more bandwidth than the inclusive allowance of your package then this will
be added to your subscription payment each month. Additional bandwidth can
be purchased in advance in blocks costing as little as £1 per GB. This
service is available in the Bolt-Ons section of your members area or by
contacting our Customer Services team.
Alternatively, you can simply pay-as-you-go, in which case you will be
charged £2 per GB that you use over your allowance.

We hope that we have made the right choice for you but if you feel that
you would be better suited on one of our other packages then you can
change your package either by visting your members area or by contacting
Customer Services during normal working hours.

We believe that you will enjoy our new service far greater than ever
before and hope that you will understand why these changes had to be made.

Kind Regards,
Customer Service

Honestly, how deluded can they be? 15GB a month? Yeah we all will experience the thrills of the interweb with that.....

I received this email TODAY,although they claimed to have sent one last week about the changes.
I will be leaving but I need to know how I stand with them.
I changed to a BB package last Nov.
Am I allowed to leave now without any penalties since they have broken the original contract?
Any help appreciated.

I never got anything 'last week' either.

I got that email yesterday. Interestingly, as soon as I read last weeks email I explicitly told them via a ticket that I rejected the new terms and conditions. I guess legally I can't really use my account then? (Lucky its so slow it might as well be using carrier pigeon anyway)
