Any reason to switch from Hub 4 to Hub 5 if using in Modem Mode?

I have a 1 gig package with Virgin and they've emailed me to let me know I can swap out my hub for the latest one. Is this worth doing if I use the hub in modem mode? Will I see any performance or stability improvements by switching? I Currently have 3 Linksys Wifi 6 nodes with ethernet backhaul and all works okay.

Some people make a massive fuss over the 2.5gig port which if you have a 2.5gig capable LAN allows the full 1.1gbit to be used by one device.

It also doesnt have the problematic puma CPU, how that affects things in real world usage I dont know though as I have never used a hub 3 or hub 4.

Not only that, it stops you getting port saturation giving you weird latency spikes or drops. Basically it's beneficial to have a faster LAN than WAN port. (LAN being limited to 940mbit after overheads, a 2.5 gig port does indeed give you closer to 1.2gbit)

Under heavy consistent load (particularly upload) downstream suffers from fragmentation. If I max out the upload with a file transfer, voice comms can become distorted/broken.

Personally I'd take the hub 5 if offered, Swap it out and if you see it as a downgrade in real world performance, send it back and keep the SH4.

potential to gain 200mb ish, that's more than my current internet by 180mb haha, if its free jump at it! Some people have been getting hub 4 rather than hub 5's

My connection went from dropping out every night without fail, to being completely rock solid when I switched to the Hub 5.

The only downtime I've had has been with the regional/national outages
