Anybody use?

By the looks of it you need to give them your banking details - I wouldn't trust any 3rd party with your details, who knows what they'd do with them or if they get hacked into - I'd personally use my bargepole here...

So would I.

Maybe being pushed for dosh at times has made me too well-organized where money is concerned, but personally I don't find it tempting anyway - sorry, but I can't see any advantage in it.

Posh git. :p ;)

50p notebook here - two columns, "amount" (each entry marked + or - as appropriate) and "balance".
Each time a payment goes in, I then enter all the direct debits etc. (which I keep a list of on the front page so that I don't forget anything) which will go out before the next payment goes in, and as far as I'm concerned that money's gone - that way I won't spend what I haven't really got.
Each time I make a "non-regular" payment from my bank account or take cash out of the machine, that gets entered too, of course.
Notebook is "divided" (bend back top corner of page) into sections for each account for easy reference.
An occasional online check to make sure that things have gone through as they should and that I haven't screwed up the arithmetic, tick the entries off, and that's that - dead simple, but it works for me.

heh, me l just hope and pray LOL.

l gave up worrying about money ages ago, hardly have any my parents seem to be continually fretting over it and l worry about their health because of it.. the way l see it is that if l let them do the worrying (because its not like the will stop worrying if l tell them not to) because that way when l feel they are making bad decisions l being the one with a clear head can at least take the helm and at least make some reasonable decisions.

that being said its pretty hard to disassociate from everything in order to keep a clear head.. if l had not learned to keep problems and everything else apart then ld be be on antidepressants like both of my parents.. so about all l can do is not weigh them down by worrying all the time and take the initiative when l can when things get too much for them to handle.

A genuine advantage of the notebook has just struck me - it fits in my pocket.
I'm out somewhere. By chance I see something that I reckon is worth buying, not what I'd actually gone out for. I don't have sufficient cash actually in my wallet at the time - so by either using my debit card or taking cash out of the nearest machine, can I afford it without putting myself in the red before I next get paid?
Pull note book out of pocket and check balance - easy.
Unless you have mobile access to whatever system you use, it isn't going to be exactly easy to do that, is it?

Agreed. You'd probably be breaking your Banks T&Cs if you did, unless they've specifically approved that site, so you could be left up the creek without a paddle (or a bargepole) if they were hacked.

if we are talking access to ones balance, lm able to access mine for free via my mobile.

granted it sounds insecure but all l can do is see my balance and not much else which suits me. all l need to be able to do is remember my 12 digit password :) (which l should mention is completely different from the online banking one so wherever l am l have access to my balance signal permitting of course)

Many moons later...

That struck me as very likely too, but I didn't comment at the time because, offhand, I hadn't actually noticed anything specific one way or the other.
However, for reasons that I won't bore you with, I'm now in the process of opening a "Coventry First" current account and, being one of those strange people who actually reads all the sections on useful info, T&Cs etc., I came across this on the Coventry Building Society's site:
If you pass your Security Details on to an account aggregation or money manager service you may be liable for any fraud or mistakes that happen on your accounts as a result.

I doubt if they are the only people taking this line, so "You have been warned"!
