Im getting sick of out Virgin Media Asynchronous 1gbps FTTC, problem is I'm not lucky enough to live where these smaller providers are rolling out there Synchronous FTTP products!! such as this on the far end https://www.optyxbroadband.com/uk, zoom on the value end or just hyperopic and likes all rolling out FTTP that's synchronous and in many cases cheaper than I pay now!!
Anyhow seems my areas not a good area for innovation so wondered if anyone read about any exciting DIY type tech available, I looked into Helium 5g nodes but i don't even have decent 5g plus they require other nodes to create networks around. Satellite is too early and too expensive still. but anyone heard of any other types of node type mesh based 5g SA DIY internet or even any of the un and coming Wi-Fi standards available?? It's just a wild guess but I thought id try. Be nice if there was a way to override the VM Super HUB 4 / 5 Upstream channels to use docsis 3.1 early maybe although I know thats illegal!
