Anyone done a PAC dance with Lebara lately?

Called up to find out what is going on and so far nothing.. They initially said it would be resolved today and now they're saying 24/48 hours.

They're claiming that the port failed with the error message 'SNB invalid' which they have escalated to Vodafone who're investigating (anyone know what that means?).

Called the old provider and they've said the number is absolutely ceased with them so at least I won't get charged for this month.

Pretty sure they've stuffed it up and the number is gone into the night!

Or maybe it was stolen?

It’s definitely a porting issue as the number isn’t currently working, when you call it says the number is not recognised.

Surely If it had been hijacked somehow it would be going somewhere? To a member of staffs mobile under a desk? 😳

If it was hijacked it might first get "parked" somehow until the dust settles and then passed onto a buyer. The days of stealing televisions from your living room are long gone.

I’ll see what they say tomorrow, they’ve got a ticket open with Vodafone (allegedly).

I emailed their CEO as that usually the best way to get their attention. CS text me to say someone tried to call me back to discuss my complaint and they would try again tomorrow.

Spoiler: they definitely didn’t attempt any call back.

Still not ported, have been advised someone will definitely give me a call back today, they're definitely looking into this with Vodafone back office and I definitely won't lose the number. They used the word definitely quite a bit, I definitely think they're talking a load of poop!

I'm disappointed to see such a memorable number go off to the big number port farm in the sky.

welcome to stupid CS who try to use the same used PAC to port your number, and get informed it's already been used so tell you SNB invalid and that you need to get a new one from the previous network who inform you it's already left.

Been there, done that, never got the t-shirt.

I honestly don’t have much faith in them fixing the issue.

They told me today not to worry because they could reverse the port and reactivate the old SIM with the old provider. 🤣

Finally had someone call me back! So allegedly the ICCID of my SIM has two numbers associated with it on their system, so when they tried to initiate the port it failed.

They’re sending me a new SIM, when I have that they’ll be able to complete the port successfully.

Anyone want to place bets that it doesn’t happen? 🙄

What are the odds, 100 to 1?
Never received my new sim, and I even purchased one locally and it could not be used.

“The number you have called is not recognised”

The losing provider have confirmed that the number is no longer with them.

Well that can be good news, as it also means its has not been assigned to anyone yet, so it still saveable me think ;)

Hopefully but I am not sure if Lebara have the level of competency to be able to save the number. On a separate note, anyone want to buy a memorable number (if they do)?😂

The quality of their “gold” number has dropped since the price went up, I got a number ending with 4 of the same number and it was only £20 from them at the time.
Would you like your number added to a spam caller list, just buy a gold number listed publicly from 1p mobile.

another example of 'Shrinkflation' sadly.

The numbers were £20 plus a £10 top up, even now at £40 combined much much reasonable than Vodafone or EE.

1P release them in batches, there was a 2222 and a 3333 available last week when I checked for a replacement for the Lebara number but they’re gone now.

Managed to find a number that ends with XXX YYYY elsewhere as I’ve given up on Lebara.

Surely your number hasn't disappeared...you need to sue them if they assign it to someone else.
