Anyone done a PAC dance with Lebara lately?

started my port on July 25th and it’s still stuck in limbo. The guy seemed confident that my issue will be resolved by September 3rd but I don’t hold their promises with much regard.

It has been painful to get to this point with their customer service team. Every day was a new excuse, a new ticket logged and a promise it’d be sorted without. 24 hours. Funny after emailing all those people and supervisor calls all it took for a call back was a negative online review. Took less than an hour for them to call back after it went live.
I guess one must be thankful at least, that there still seems to be existing pathways to proper resolution, in a world controlled by rich conglomerates.

...lets see how it all unfolds.

Feel sorry for you Gartec. Hope this gets resolved coming week.

As an aside, anyone done a PAC dance with Three recently? IF so, can you advise to request a reverse back to Lebara on the same day that PC on Three gets activated? Or is it wise to wait for one day for the sytems update (midnight I suppose) and request it the next day?

So today’s the day that they told me the SIM would start working again…

SIM’s still dead as is the number, called up and was told I’ll get a call back within an hour (2 hours ago).

I don't think they're going to do that!

I think they won't be able to resolve this and they'll keep putting me off until (they hope) I get bored and go away.

The complaints guy who called me on the back on the back of my online review seemed to have half a clue although he promised he would call me back this morning which didn't happen.

Apparently my case has been escalated back to the Vodafone porting team and I'll hear back by the end of the day (bet I don't).
 
Called up today after my callbacks yesterday didn’t happen and was told I would get a call by 13:00 to explain what is happening (which will be nothing!)

Call back hasn’t arrived and the SIM is still dead. 🤣

Start messaging the top honchos about legal action, Ofcom complaints, ICO (data), and Social Media adverse publicity.
 
Lebara set a record, not one but TWO callbacks today. Unfortunately was stuck in workshops about AI, data entropy and API’s so couldn’t answer the phone (the meeting were as fun as they sound 😂😴).

Each time I was left a message to say the issue is still with Vodafone and there’s no update.

At least it’s contact!

Glad things are moving. perhaps you should also start addressing and contacting Vodafone about this lapses and involve the so called managers too !
 
Another call back today! Imagine actually calling back when promising to do so.

Allegedly they’ve had word back from Vodafone that the number should become active at some point tomorrow.

Haha - It's funny you say that.

They called me on Saturday to tell me that I would get a call today, called up at 16:30 and was told they will call me back within an hour. Called back at 20:30 and was told I will get a call back tomorrow :D:D:D:D
 
Started typing this earlier and got a rage inducing email from my MP which I replied to and so and I forgot to post an update.

After calling Lebara twice today and getting nowhere they have sent me the below.

Called customer service to be told 'it's working now' which obviously isn't right or I wouldn't be calling. Explained to them that when the number is called there is an invalid number tone/message. This is allegedly because the ICCID that's associated with the SIM is invalid or not associated with my line.

Now this has to be escalated to another team who will investigate and then get back to me tomorrow. It usually takes 48 hours but in this case a high priority has been assigned to the case. 🤨

Allegedly, because their system showing the number ported in successfully they can issue a PAC. Decided to cut my losses and port the number to the EE line I got for testing out SA.

Feels like I’m letting them get away with a colossal mess but at least the number isn’t lost!
